Founded in 1989, German-based Urotech GmbH is specialized in the development and manufacturing of disposable instrumentation for a wide field of modern Urology Applications. Among our vast product portfolio we offer amongst others Ureteral Stents, Balloon Catheters, Haematuria/Tamponade Catheters, Suprapubic Bladder Puncture Sets / Exchange Sets, Stone Extractors and Ureteral Catheters.
A majority of Urotech products are manufactured "Made in Germany" in our own production in South Bavaria. Fast access to production and a flexible production plan enables us to react quickly to individual customer requests, resulting in optimal service. We constantly develop several new and innovative products in close co-operation with our Research&Development Engineers and Key Reference Doctors. Our production facilities are modern, with up-to-date technology clean-room facilities fulfilling all international standards and all legal requirements.
One of our biggest strengths is our so-called Phosphorylcholine (PC)-Coating process which we offer for our stent and nephrostomy portfolio. This exclusive Urotech coating process provides various advantages such as increased indwelling times, reduced incrustation and a reduced bacteria colonisation. Alltogether PC-coatings will increase the indwelling performance of the devices and reduce the risk of clinically significant complications.
